BioDentity Systems Corporation, Announces Further Contracts with Passport Authorities from US Visa Waiver Countries. Contracts are in Response to US Public Law 107-173 Which Requires Visa Waiver Countries to Issue Passports Containing a Facial Biometric by 26 October 2004
July 26, 2004 -- BioDentity Systems Corporation, wholly-owned subsidiary of CryptoMetrics, Inc. today announced the signing of contracts with more Passport Authorities from nations on the US Visa Waiver List. The contracts support the efforts of individual governments to comply with US law and maintain their visa waiver status. Effective October 26, 2004, the United States will require citizens from the Visa Waiver countries to present a passport containing a machine verifiable facial biometric in order to enter the United States. This new requirement is part of the government’s continuing effort to more effectively secure its borders.
