CryptoMetrics® was the first company to offer a biometric kiosk designed specifically to:
- Read one of the new globally standardized ePassports (eMRPS)
- Support a positive facial biometric identity check and verification against watch-list databases
- Support a positive identity check using a second, supplementary biometric (i.e. fingerprints)
The SecurIDent Biometric Kiosk is based on the principle that two forms of identification must be confirmed (two IDs to pass) when clearing a person via a kiosk at a port of entry or exit; these being a valid travel document and the biometric verification of the document presenter.
Ideal for airport and border security, SecurIDent Biometric Kiosks are customizable to meet the unique needs of individual control authorities.
