Vitalert
Vitalert is an advanced warning lookout detection system used to confirm the identities of people before they reach a checkpoint. Ideal for border and airport security, Vitalert captures close-up facial images from crowds at distances up to 15 meters (50 feet). Images are normalized for color, contrast and a subject’s pose. The normalized images are then checked against a database containing images of potentially threatening suspects. It can confirm the identity of a suspect in mere seconds and provides an advanced warning capability that far exceeds traditional “name lookout checklists” which can be easily compromised with the use of aliases and false identification.
Only with Vitalert will security staff receive advanced warning of a “lookout hit” before the individual enters primary inspection.
